What is the Health and Safety?

All workers are entitled to work in environments where risks to their health and safety are properly controlled. Under health and safety law, the primary responsibility for this is down to employers. Employers have a duty to consult with their employees, or their representatives, on health and safety matters.

What is the meaning of HSE officer?

An engineering graduate when trained and qualified in HSE aspects is designated as HSE engineer. He will look in to the system to be implemented to identify potential hazards and recommends or instructs to restructure the system to eliminate or minimize risks.

What is an EHS Professionals Tasks?

Environmental, Health & Safety Professionals Tasks: Conduct research for the purpose of identifying, abating, or eliminating sources of pollutants or environmental hazards. Generate and maintain documentation related to EHS initiatives. Contribute to administration of EHS programs.

What are the Duties of a Safety Officer?

The duties of this job vary by employer, but safety officers typically have responsibilities pertaining to policy development, safety inspections, safety training and compliance with the federal Occupational Safety & Health Administration, commonly known as OSHA.

What does an EHS do?

The manager can work directly for a company or for a consulting company. The EHS manager may sometimes be in charge of employee training that relates to safety or environmental health, so that employees can aid in making changes.

This programme is designed to provide candidates with understanding the skills, principles and practices of workplace safety. This level provides a starting point from which more detailed training in level 2 can follow. This level is suitable for beginners and anyone in the workplace environment.
